Hi, it was hard but fun. I reupload my Composition. I composed the whole thing in FL Studio 20. Let me know what you think.

Oh, snap, you're all sharing already. I kind of missed the train on that one, but I was also still trying to warm up to my own take on this.
I will have to go through all of yours, but I'm a little scared to do so, haha. At any rate, here's mine:
All done exclusively with BBCSO Core using Cubase...
...naturally, I'd love to know what you're thinking about it. I'll try to earn some feedback by giving my own, I suppose, but it could get a little crowded in here, no? Hmmm....

Some Feedback from me, just in case....
@simonphinix : Whoa, I am literally waiting for a trance track to break out halfway into it. Fun in that regard, but hard to connect to the picture, if you had asked me. If not: still some neat stuff for sure!
@Shalevgrad : What wonderful harmonies. A complete pleasure to listen to. I'm having a bit of a hard time connecting it to the footage, except for some moments. Sort of goes over top of it all, swallowing it a bit. But gorgeous stuff and wonderful sounds, too.
@SimonKosta : Great intro. Then you sort of drop a whole century, hehe, managing to make one think of replacing the piano with a Cembalo, haha. Fun, though. And moments later we're in the 21st century for a proper Rap background track, hehe. Made me smile for sure!
@Hak2m : Yo, it starts of so sensitively and then hammers into the next big scene with a somewhat wild "composition" that feels a bit like it's coming out of a Melotron for some reason?! Interesting in a weird way.
By now I'm already wondering, if I somehow misunderstood to respect the dialog and try to keep the music behind it?! Just a little thought on the side as I start listening to your takes on it.🤔
@Seth_Metoyer : Ehehehe...yeah, I'm sure you know what you're doing! 😁
...well, if nobody rips my head off for writing these comments, I'll happily resume later, hehe, but I am a wee bit scared already.😐️

Hi to all. I uploaded my version of the clip to my channel and put the address in the google form. But after a few days, made another version, uploaded it to his channel, deleted the previous one, and made an edit in the Google form. Is this enough or do I need to contact someone at spitfire audio to replace the video?

Hi all, my take on the subject below - used SF solo strings and the EastWest Platinum Steinway.
Some wonderful entries above - no longer even contemplating a prize! I won't say who is my favourite but I have awarded best beard and best thumbnail - you know who you are😉
Best of luck to everyone! If you are now stuck for things to do you are all very welcome to join our "community composer challenge" (see the share your music thread).

Wow! I'm so humbled and impressed by everyone's entries here.
This is a fantastic opportunity for all of us who have absolutely no clue what we're doing. I've always wanted to try composing to picture, and Spitfire/Netflix has given us some amazing tools to work with. I can definitely hear the kind of melodies that I'd want to hear while everything is happening, and I've done my best to create them with my entry.
Best of luck, everyone!

Sometimes it can take a few days to show up - it's one of YouTube's less reliable features! One thing to try - in your video description try typing
#mybridg
very slowly at the bottom of the box - hopefully a little pop up will happen with the hashtag and showing the number of videos - click that to add the hashtag rather than finishing typing the hashtag. Then save the description box. Another thing to try is to click through to the hashtag several times from your live video. Don't worry though - I think SF will just click through to it from your form for the judging and I don't think the number of likes/views is relevant to your chances of success.

Hey all, I had a surprisingly great time making this - what a great exercise, thanks again SA & co!
It's mostly BBCSO & AR2 + a synth..

after listening to my mix this am on speakers (rather than headphones as was necessary last night while kids were asleep) Ive re-mixed, however I'm facing the problem of the following: how do I upload the new vid with new mix and when I've already submitted my submission to spitfire which contains the video link (which will need to be replace with the new link given that youtube will not allow a new video to the previous link.
tips?
cant delete this comment but solved the problem with submission entry editing documents in the email!

This is my entry to the competition. My goal was to write a piece that would follow the timeline of the video, but also develop in a manner similar to a classical work of the period. Full orchestra was used in a few places, though some of the tender moments used solo piano or chamber instrumentation. Hope you enjoy!

I haven't decided which one of my scorings to submit...
Can You please help me decide?

Great contributions from you all!
My approach makes reference to the classical composers, a bit of Beethoven, Wienerwalz (Strauss), some baroque-inspired parts (mostly the fanfares...) and some more recent influence as well (I believe it is even possible to find a little Scott Bradly (Tom & Jerry) and JW somewhere in the bedroom scene...).
Best wishes in the competition everyone!
