Solar/Mercury very low volume
I'm having trouble with Solar/Mercury volume of samples. When I just start playing, I could barely hear anything and the sound peaked around -50-40db. When I crack up the plugin volume to max (12db) and I hit the keyboard really hard, I can get around -21-18db, which is what I would expect.
I'm using the default presets. Previews are played at normal, expected volume.
Do I have anything misconfigured? Is it known issue?

I am having the same issue.

I can second that - at least in Cusabe on OSX Monterey.

I am also having the same 'Low Audio Levels' issue. I am running Ableton Live 11 Suite on PC. I have submitted a support ticket for the issue. I'm just glad that it's not just me.

I'm having the same problem too. I'm running it in Logic Pro x in a Mac with Mojave

I have to run all the way up on audio and then increase the gain for it on Cakewalk. Win 11prox64

The same thing is happening to me. I have to add an amp to get any sound.

I have found that changing the Velocity to 'Exponential Pos.' and raising the volume to 200% give me plenty of volume to work with. You will find Velocity under the three dots ( ... ) next to the cog, top right of the UI.

This issue still persists for me. It makes the lower velocities nearly unusable. Changig the velocity curve works - but this cannot be the final solution.
Is anyone at spitfire aware of this issue?

I am having the same issue with volume which makes Mercury unpairable in an instrument layer in Bitwig... Any update in the making?

Same here. Love everything but this issue makes me use this synth less than I want.

This actually solves the problem for me as well.

In addition to raising the Volume (see my post from October 14, 2022) I have found that adding Velocity compensation works well. In Logic Pro and Ableton Live 11 you will find it in Midi Effects and you can flavour to taste. I have found raising the Velocity compensation to 127 (ie. the highest possible) works best in most situations but experiment and see what you like.
