Thank you so much Paul, this is something I will be using, the Piano is beautiful

The paper shaker when tuned down sounds like breathing

The glass hits are really good when tuned down and would be great in suspension scenes I can vision. Same with China hits

The latch locker sounds nice too

The computer keyboard noise freaked me out, it sounds like an old clock tuned down,

The bass synth is nice, I will definitely have some fun with this in the future!

The Aggro Synth is fantastic

I absolutely love the ethereal pads, I love anything Ethereal so thank you for this 1!

The Metallophones are fantastic, they are also great when tuned down to the lowest value!

Same with Marimba

That guitar is brilliant, I don't think I have one which sounds as brilliant as this one!

That flute one is quite scary, but I love it haha!

I've had alot of fun with this one, I feel abit spoilt in fact, but most of all, what warms my heart and made me buy this is because its for a good cause, I can't thank you enough and I'm so proud of you all for helping the world and making a difference.

To he honest, everyone that can afford it should buy it for the charity donation in the first place - such a great idea for a great cause.

The fact it comes packed with some georgous instruments is purely a bonus.

It's nice to have a bright grand piano, feel like we've been spoiled with muted felts recently.

Those synths!

I've only scratched the surface so far but I'm already feeling some of these sounds will become staples in my arsenal.

Anyone having issues with this and Reaper? It's the only Spitfire VST I can't get to show up. All other Originals, LABS and BBC SO have been fine but this isn't showing up in my list of VSTs even after pointing Reaper directly to the folder.

Sure, I can see the .dll files for all my plugins in the folder including the one for Media Toolkit.

I've upgraded from v5 to v6 of Reaper and thankfully that resolved the issue.

Now I can enjoy the weekend playing with my new toy!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! 🙏 I made a couple of enquiries recently about whether an un-tampered-with grand piano might be released within the Spitfire plugin (like the Orchestral Grand) because my son has been having a lot of trouble finding one that didn't require Kontakt. This fits the bill perfectly, without even taking into account the huge treasure chest of other gorgeous stuff. And with profits going to such a worthy cause, it's perfect. I'm buying one for my son and one for me. Cheers Paul and the whole Spitfire team - you're good 'uns! 🙌

Might be worth checking if there's an installer update. I had the same issue with another library earlier on in the year and that was the reason

Hello,

I finally had a chance to open & explore this one today -lovely sounds and very useful! I even recorded 3-5 min of material straight away. Thank you for this release.

I did notice that when using the piano sound, though, some piano notes played with the right hand would randomly sound 1 octave higher than played.

I didn't have time to explore whether it was velocity related or not (I was playing passages p-pp), etc.

I'm using the latest version of Logic on an M1 mac w/the most recent OS & am not having issues with Logic or any other SF libraries.

Just tested the Piano and was not able to replicate. If you can consistently replicate and have an Audio and MIDI file, please send this to our team directly at www.spitfireaudio.com/support

I tried this morning & was also unable to replicate the issue but did pass along a couple audio & midi files of what happened when recording yesterday to the support team just in case the fault wasn't with the gear on my end (I suspect it was).

I was just wondering whether to get the Originals : Media Toolkit or not cuz I just purchased the CDT (Contemporary Drama Toolkit). Just needed some info as to whether these two libraries are completely different or have some shared sounds? I'd rather go for the new drum kit in Originals if there are some shared sounds

I got originals media toolkit for the piano (I wanted a grand piano that hadn't been felted or otherwise abused: ) and I would say OMT is worth the price of admission for the piano alone (use it all the time both clean and with the hyped sounds). Also a marimba on there which is very good and, as Paul says in the walkthrough, there is endless fun to be had dotting all the little found percussion noises around the stereo field (am a big fan of the bowl in A Flat and some of the "alternative" shakers are nice to have). I have got some quite good "modern noir" (think Jessica Jones) sort of grooves going with it (must go back and finish those at some point).
