LABS drums issue

I’m trying to use midi to play these drum sounds on my electronic drums (Alesis Nitro and/or my KAT drum pad). Most of the sounds are very responsive, but I can barely to get others to work (especially all of the snare sounds). I’ve tried assigning the sounds to different pads and even turned the sensitivity all the way up on my pads, but even hitting them as hard as I can I still only get sound occasionally. Like I said, some of the other sounds work perfectly (especially the toms and crash) and I can play my pads naturally on those. Is there something I’m not doing right or is this an issue others have experienced? Sorry if this was covered somewhere before, I couldn’t find it in the forum. Thanks in advance for any help!
