Sampled Female Vocalist Software ?

Does anyone know of any sampled (rather than synthesized) Vocalist Software that would sing my songs with lyrics ? I've looked at "Vocaloid" which is absolutely awful ! Surely there must be something better than this out there ! Any advice appreciated ! R.

The only one I can think of is EastWest Hollywood Backup Singers but I've never used it! It says you can type in words for them to sing.

It may be worth a look.

Have you looked at Realitone's Realivox Blue? I have not used it (yet), but it looks interesting and may also be worth a look.

The East West products have a word builder so you can make them sing your lyrics. You can buy or subscribe. http://www.soundsonline.com/Vocals

Hi -

I would recommend Realivox Blue as noted above. It's not as easy as plugging in lyrics and away you go, its a bit finicky, but it does work. Would make sure to watch the instructional videos. Here are a couple of tracks I have used it on:

I know this is not what you asked, but I would highly recommend hiring a session singer. I recently hired 2 session singers on fiverr and they were both fantastic. They can even work from a rough guide piano track. A score or rough vocal take is obviously better. The prices were very reasonable. First one was £43. The second one was more expensive at £157 but that's not typical and depends on what you need doing.

IMO VI singers never really cut it when you have a specific melody and lyrics in mind.

Best is to hire a vocalist, Fiverr is my place where I found a few great ones.
