Hi everyone,

I am a student studying M.Des Sound for the Moving Image at Glasgow School of Art. This survey is to collect data for my master's project/dissertation.

I am focusing my masers research on the use of sample libraries by today's media composers. As a performing musician and composer who creates sample instruments myself, I am interested in how composers use sample libraries, the strengths and weaknesses of sample libraries, and how this affects the use of live musicians for media music.
