What an amazing opportunity to get to know y'all. Hi, everybody!
While I've made music for decades, this is literally my first go at scoring a clip. I can't believe how much fun that is, but whom am I telling that...
Exclusively made, using the LABS libraries, which I fell dearly in love with. This is my first entry attempt thus far:
DAW used was MuLab from muTools.
Absolutely all else was free plugins:
Dimension Expander, Nova 67-p, OTT and LoudMax64.
I tried to keep all LABS sounds as original as possible, only using its reverbs and mild panning here and there, adjusting Variations for depth and width. Minor EQ adjustments and Mid-Side Processing inside Mulab.
I'd absolutely love to get feedback, of course, but it's probably a bit awkward before this competition ends, haha.😁
Well, good luck to everybody and thank you, Spitfire, for this fantastic idea.

I am grateful to Spitfire, DC, Pinar, and all of you composers for the opportunity and inspiration to participate in this project. I have really enjoyed the challenges presented in this clip, especially the range of emotions within.
For this score, I used Spitfire Symphony Orchestra, Hans Zimmer Percussion, Spitfire Percussion, a bit of Hammers, a couple instances of Solstice, and beefed up the brass a bit with Spitfire Studio Brass.
Thanks again and keep sharing your amazing music! I love to hear all the different approaches.

Hello everyone! Super happy to join another competition by Spitfire Audio and get to write more original music :) Here's my entry, hope you enjoy it! I'll take some time to take a look at the others in the thread in the next few days, too. Some LABS, some other libraries, and some live instruments in this one. More details (as in, a long-ish paragraph) about my choices and process are included in the video description. Best of luck to all!

Oops, just noticed that one can't edit an earlier post here... that's a shame. Anyway, I've already updated my submission, making some things a bit tighter. Isn't it a notorious thing that only after first publishing something, 1000 things become apparent...eh... one by one, haha. I'm trying not to post another thumb:

It was very funny to make the spotting session, to find good tempo, to build nice chords and rhythmic patterns that match the feeling of each parts.
Many thanks to SpitfireAudio, Mad Ghost Productions and DC, and of course to Pinar Toprak composer.
It was very exciting. I hope you'll enjoy my work. You're welcome to post your feedback. Good luck All.

I've heard so many great submissions. I'd love to hear how you guys feel about my take for the clip. This is my first time engaging in a community of like minded artist who scores music.

Sardou, dang, the bumper track for the show at the end is such a great combination out of orchestral and sort of dubstep synth programming. Very cool! Wonder if something could've replaced the piano or carried its spirit without being one, you know. Anyway... neat idea to bring contemporary sound programming into scoring. 👍️

Hello to the whole community, I must say that it is always very stimulating to listen to how many different ways a video can be set to music.
I hope you like mine.
Thank you.

Decided to go in a more Klaus Doldinger, Giorgio Moroder direction since The Neverending Story and Das Boot were such inspirations to me as a kid and I love that euro synth/string hybrid approach. Tried to use a bunch of physical instruments including bowing my electric upright bass (has a high C above standard G), an Oberheim OB-6 and Access Virus ti2 along with Albion, Solo strings, Eric Whitacre Choir and Hammers by Spitfire. All in all this was a fun learning experience in a genre I don’t usually have much intimate knowledge of. Excited to keep viewing the other incredible submissions!

This is the first time I've synchronized to any film. It was definitely a challenge, but also definitely a great scene for practice and a great opportunity. Listening through the submissions, it's interesting to see all the variety and different approaches. Good luck to you all and here's my submission!
Also if you want to hear the score in isolation, I uploaded it to Soundcloud at:

Hey guys, first post in the forum!

ProjectSAM's Free Orchestra (for various orchestral and percussive effects, and basses and brass for the action section)

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Here is my version of the scene. I realised how much different meanings can be conveyed through the change of the soundtrack. I have another version but this one is my final one. Hope it's enjoyable to your ears. No matter what the outcome, i am very happy to participate to this competition and share my views and visions to you all. Thank you.
