Looking at Cimbalom now. It has a very strident tone, so getting it to work well with other instruments is an interesting challenge. And I keep accidentally chanelling the Sherlock Holmes soundtrack, which is not helpful.

I don't think I could ever compose something original with the Cimbalom after that soundtrack. It's too iconic.
