Suggestion: Add a list of articulations and presets to LABS instrument pages?
For people who want to know whether they would want to download a LABS instrument, I think it would be nice if you added a list of the articulations/presets/whatever comes with the LABS instrument like you would do with a library such as Albion One or BBCSO. To me, I feel like people don't really see much in the trailer like you would with a walkthrough (you could also do that maybe), and I think LABS is more of a mystery box than a VST instrument except for the fact that you do get a short demo of what it sounds like. I've linked a screenshot of what I am talking about below.

I think due to the nature of them being free, small, and "easy to download and delete" instruments, they probably won't implement this. It would be cool tho

Yeah, that's what I thought too, but why not :P

@Adam Menicucci thanks for the feedback. LABS instruments are so small, the expectation would be that someone would download to explore it physically rather than read a specification. That exploration is definitely one of the aspects that excites community members when a new instrument is dropped. That said, I'll note down your feedback, and if I have time, I'll try and collate a more comprehensive FAQ for LABS in the future.

No, that's a very good point. I understand why you don't have a more detailed list :)
One question, are you in charge of LABS?

@Adam Menicucci I'm not in charge of LABS, but I am part of the LABS team as the Customer Experience Lead.

Ahh, ok then. You may not be able to answer this, but I was wondering if there was anywhere we could suggest potential LABS instruments to you and your team.

Ok then, thanks for your help :)

*Spoiler Alert*
Let's just say I got bored @Adam Menicucci, and @Angus I can upload the text file I used to make this if you want an easier time converting it to a spot on the website (if that is ever something you plan on doing).

@Adam Menicucci I've now created a LABS User Manual and Quick Start Guide that includes @gregoryd's Map.
As thanks @gregoryd I've sent you a copy of Cinematic Pads!

Thanks a lot for doing that! It's great to know that the forum here at Spitfire Audio is as great as their products :)
Believe me, many other forums wouldn't be at this level of kindness and perseverance, so thanks to you both @Angus and @gregoryd :)
Also, @Angus where can we find the User Manual and Quick Start Guide? Just on the LABS page?

@Angus I thought one of the 8Dio things just happened with receipts going out for no reason. Was gonna start a discussion and everything 😆
Thank you so much (this is awesome; Spitfire is the beeeeest; can't thank you enough; I will sing your praises on every forum)!!!
In all seriousness, I'm glad I could help. I'm definitely a certified™ Spitfire Fanboy at this point.

Hey, I'm a fanboy too haha :)

Honestly I don't even bother to listen to the video demo or any other info before I start to download a new LABS instrument. I'm usually watching that video clip while I'm downloading it unless I happen to catch it on my phone or something when I'm not in my home office/studio. I know SSD space isn't cheap but I'm not even sure why one wouldn't just download and install all the LABS. Even if I have a copy of the full product that it came from (Like the choir or Tundra) I still keep the LABS instrument installed as well. Even if you can't afford the space on an SSD, since they are typically fairly small in file size I suspect you could load them fast enough from a spinning hard drive as well as long it wasn't one of the tiny 2.5" drives that meant for back ups, since those are much slower drives typically.
I say just download them all, use the filters in the LABS player to find things. I also maintain an Excel Sheet for all (or almost all) my sample libraries. And I use that as a search tool to remind me of what I have when I'm not sure exactly what sound I'm looking for.

I'm in the same boat now, but on my older setup I had to be a little pickier with my storage space even to the megabytes.
Imma make a spread sheet for my Kontakt libraries! That's a good idea, thanks for that.

There are libraries like the bass and peel guitars that I will almost never use in my compositions, that is why I don't download them all. I'm pretty lazy anyways :/
