is there a way to automate between techniques in albion colossus
Is there a way to automate between techniques in albion colossus or any other spitfire standalone instrument? I Use Cubase Pro 12 and would like to automate the different phrasings of instruments on one track instead of having to open one instance of Albion Colossus for spiccato and another instance for marcato on a separate track. Read and Write automation doesn't work but i've seen on some videos on youtube that it appears you can automate between techniques of the same instrument on the same track. I hope this makes sense.

Hi @TominLA
You can use key switches to change from one technique to another. For example, load an instance of High Strings Additional longs. There are 4 articulations, Flautando, Sul Tasto, Sul Pont and Tremelo. Look at the key switch note for each articulation. They usually start at C-2 and go up to C#-2, D-2,D#-2 etc. (You can change them). They are always outside the range of the instrument. Add the notes into Cubase where you want the articulation to change.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Steve
