Does BBC Symphony Orchestra Core have full section control or are they grouped together?

I don't practice Abbey Roads, which are probably wonderful. Other participants will be able to tell you better about it; However, I can tell you that BBCso are fantastic because they have unlimited potential! (I guess it's the same for SSO under Kontakt.

I can give you the link to my last two pieces made with BBCSO pro entirely for the orchestra (with Pianoteq for the solo piano and Solo strings for the passage in solo string quartet, as well as Whitacre Choir).

Do you mean - does it have ensemble control? (E.G String ensemble, brass ensemble etc.)

What I am wondering is, are the string sections all baked in to a single section or they are separated in to smaller ones. For example, cellos in one and violins into another.

No no. It is an orchestra where you have to write all instrument (or desk) individually. No mix, unlike other orchestras like Abbey Road, which group instruments by mixes.

Some prefer (like me) to take the time to make their own mixtures. That's why I prefer BBCSO pro. But it's longer.
