Le Farfalle (With BBCSO Core)
This is my first post on this discussion thread...
This was originally a piano piece I wrote many years ago (over 20 years ago) which I decided to have a go at orchestrating using Spitfire's BBCSO Core. The solo violin is also Spitfire - from their Solo Strings.
Hope you like it. Please let me know your thoughts.

Hi there, welcome!
I love the combination of timbre of sounds there - the combination of the glockenspiel and woodwinds contrasts by the warm cellos on my right and the violins on the left.
Took me a while to notice the bassoon hiding behind the cello lines, a very nice addition!
This is a great piece! Thanks for sharing!
P.S. I do not have core - but do they have pre-programmed string runs, or did you record that yourself?

Thanks for the feedback. I wrote the runs myself using the Legato patch with portatamento to give it that sliding feel.
