Which mics for Orchestra-mock-up-mix?
Hello dear community!
I'm relativly new to the whole mixing-mastering-business and I want to ask a rather general question:
Which mic-setup (close, mix1, tree...?) could you generally recommand for mixing a track with BBCSO (professional version)?
Thx

Hello,
BBCSO pro indeed offers a lot of options. For my part, I am content for the moment with mix 1 which I still find very realistic compared to my expectations. Sometimes, if necessary, I underline this or that solo with a little extra, but not always.
So maybe I could look into the question to organize a large template including other mixes. It's a bit tedious when there are 100 tracks and more because you have to change the mix on each instance. I haven't felt the need so far.
