Really enjoyed this opportunity. It's my first time on this approach, genre of music that I used and the competition. I know there is a lot more learning for me but it is definitely a kick-starter for future competitions. I really enjoyed listening to some of the other submissions as well. Good luck to everyone who entered and thanks again to the Spitfire Audio team and Kris Bowers for this opportunity.

Hello Everyone
Great to see so many people sharing the same passion here, so many great versions! Good luck to everyone!
For my version I mainly used the British Drama Toolkit and some non-virtual guitar playing.

This is the first time I've done a scoring competition! Been amazing just meeting so many talented and like minded people. Many thank to Kes and Spitfire for putting this together it's been a lot of fun! Here's my entry which I have titled the music score as 'Garlic Toast'. Unusual yes! Thought the string theme line sounded (in my head anyway) like garlic toast. I wanted to work with a main theme and weave a thread through the various scenes paying a lot attention to the tongue in cheek nature of the dialogue which is delightful, fresh and engaging. Hope you enjoy!

A little bit of a Brazilian flavored 'Bridgerton' Samba Parade for you

Hi All, I felt the narrated piece really suited a melodic score and I was really inspired by Louis Rugg's highly recommended "How to Create Emotive Melodies" YouTube video. It's my first attempt at a score - I didn't realise how tough it would be to hit the key frames but loved the challenge. Good luck everyone!

Greetings from Quito - Ecuador !
My attempt for this scoring competition was using Ecuadorian Traditional Music as the main reference, the genre I used is called Pasillo.

Hi everyone, I'm loving seeing what everyone has created over this clip, they're all amazing!
Also my first time trying something like this and really enjoyed it.
My idea for Queen Charlottes theme was... What if a cello player in an 18th century string quartet started playing a beat on their cello and everyone joined in? I thought this idea might give the Queen strutting down the hall some attitude.
For Daphne I wanted to introduce a theme right at the beginning and then bring it back as she's getting ready with some pulsing cellos to help show her nervous excitement and the grandeur of the wedding.
I hope you like it, any feedback is really welcome!
The amazing instruments I used:
Spitfire Audio Symphonic Motions, Olafur Arnalds Evolutions, Originals Epic Strings, Originals Cinematic Percussion, Labs Soft Piano, BBC Symphonic Discover, Oliver Patrice Weder Toolkit, Pianobook Upright Bass Drum and probably loads more I've forgotten.
Thanks Spitfire Audio & Kris Bowers for this insane competition!
Good luck everyone,
Sean
