One instrument vs all other
Hi all. I'd like to share my latest composition. Basically it's an orchestral piece with its melodies, themes, accompaniments, etc., but on certain parts, a somewhat alienated recorder tune chips in, trying to make a statement, or even cries it out, voicing the piece title, like a solicitation. It even ends it with a similar gesture. Who knows if it finally gets the attention it's seeking the whole through. I would like to know your opinion about it. I used mostly BBCSO Discover to compose this.

I have to say, those pizzicatos at the beginning sounds absolutely stunning. I don't remember using BBCSO Discover like that. I should probably revisit Discover sometime.
