Whitacre Choir and Sierra/HIgh Sierra operating systems

Hello,

I recentlly purchased the Whitacre Choir and was saddened to discover it does not run with Sierra 10.12. The tech people have told me that they have seen problems with 12 and below. So I thought, well just update to High Sierra 10.13 whatever and be good to go. I forgot how the Apple Corporation operates. To update to High Sierra is a digital nightmare. The building block of that process would be 10.13.0. You can find downloads for 10.13.6 and 10.13.3 but to get to those as a way to get into High Sierra you need to first download 10.13.0. Guess what....you cannot find it. If anyone out there has any idea how I might proceed, I would be deeply appreciative. Many thanks!

    did you try this webpage form Apple https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683 It appears there is a download link to the Mac App store version of High Sierra on this page.

    A great resource of knowledge about all things Apple you can find in forums of macrumors.com There is even a forum about High Sierra: https://forums.macrumors.com/forums/macos-high-sierra-10-13.203/

    Thank you for your response.

    I am fortunate to have a colleague very attuned to computer "issues". He discovered that the culprit in all of this that was preventing the download of High Sierra was my video card. He replaced it with whatever card was necessary and as he put it, "your computer seemed happier then and accepted the High Sierra download".
