Is there a way to get the tone of the marcato setting onto the long setting?
Hello, I'm writing a song right now, and I've been using the bass trombones. I have a low counter melody that sounds fantastic with the marcato, the extremely brassy loud sound is fantastic for it - the only problem is that some of notes are held out for a good time. Is there any way to lengthen the marcato setting or to make 'long' sound more brassy? Thanks

How convenient that I find out about the 'cuivre' as soon as I post this 😅. If anyone else has this question, that is the answer

Yep!
For future reference, if there isn't a 'cuivre' articulation, just layer a marcato with a long, it works for some instruments and they sound great!
