Logic "Record Automation in Midi Regions" and Mackie MCU Pro
Hello, I use Logic on Mac and have a Mackie MCU Pro Control Surface. I notice when I have a track set to "Record Automation in Midi Regions" It overrides control of the faders on the Mackie, also occurs when in the Logic Mixer page I have switched on "Sends on Faders". The only way to regain control of automation on the Mackie seems to be to switch off "Record Automation in Midi Regions".
Is this how it should operate or am I missing a setting in Logic (or the Mackie?) which will allow me to have control of automation on the Mackie faders AND not have to keep switching "Record Automation in Midi Regions" on and off?
Thanks
Keith
