No worries and thanks for getting back to me!! will have to look into the Ample Hellrazer (I can actually play guitar fairly well but real guitars playing through virtual amps are a nightmare to mix, real amps only sound good at insane volumes, and guitars seem to need setting up every other week to stay properly in tune - so more faff than I currently have time for!).

I recently put the clean guitar sound from Aperture: the Stack through the tubescreamer and the JCM800 Marshall from Softtube's amp room. That was "interesting"; )
