Albion ONE Strings full (Octave) legato Patch vs CS. Is there a difference?

On further investigation, it's appears that MOST of the (Octave) Legato "CS" patches are identical to the non CS counterpart. Why are there duplicate patches? Are they supposed to sound muted? They are identical unless I'm (hopefully) missing something.
Legacy patches seem normal though.

CS means "con sordino" or with a mute. It supposed to be a muted sound, with a different timbre. I believe that Albion One Legato CS has real recordings, so or yours ears are wrong or your lib have an error.

So this are the original sounds right out of the box. I played something using the legato strings first followed by the Legato CS strings. You can tell that there's this subtle difference where the sound is a bit thinner. The difference should only be this much and shouldn't be drastic. However if you can't notice them, maybe trying sending something here with your two patches. - Or maybe you'll need some headphones to tell the difference

Thanks. I know what CS means. I'm not hearing the same differences that are in your example. Did you use the exact same patch as I described?

Even the Strings High, Strings low have NO difference between them. vs the CS patch in legato/individual sexctions.

@Angus is there any fix for this?
This is the 3rd issue with this library that's been out for literally years... :(
I've reset and re-installed and still the same.
