BBC - Cubase multiple outputs no sound

I'm following this guide: https://spitfireaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003993757-How-to-use-multiple-outputs-in-the-BBC-SO-Cubase-

But once I do step 4 I get no sound from the instrument. And if I undo the step, I still get no sound. I have to set to another instrument, and if I come back to the first instrument I still get no sound.

It's hard to say without seeing the plugin mic set up / the output set up in the right hand instrument pane of Cubase and also the automation lanes that return these outputs. Are you able to screenshot these things?

Alternatively please do create a support case and we can run through it with you.
