Logic C0 random firing
Hi there
I'm using a Spitfire plug-in with Logic.
The C0 note seems to fire on seemingly random commands and clicks.
See attached video of C0 striking when I select a track.
Can anyone help?
Thank you very much in advance.
David
PS - the plugin is Felt Piano but it happens with BBC SO too.

My guess is that there's some midi coming in from somewhere, and that it appears to follow your track selection because the track only responds to incoming MIDI when it's selected (because selecting it also enables it for record.)
If you switch Logic's LCD to "Custom" view, then you'll see the Midi In/Out display which should tell you if it's receiving MIDI. Depending on your environment it could be coming from any number of things, like a hung note on a controller or plug-in... but if a mouse-click on the control bar really is what sets off the note, the only thing I can think of is that there's maybe a control surface config problem? (You can rebuild the defaults, but I don't use the control surface stuff so that's the limit of my advice there, I'm afraid :-)

That’s a great thought. Thank you.
I’ll check it out.
Appreciate your time.
Thanks,
David
