BBCSO switch articulations by MIDI channel
I didn't see that anyone else has mentioned this, but if you hate the classic system of key switches, you can dump all that and simply trigger articulations by the MIDI channel of the note. Change the "trigger" setting in the player to set each articulation to a different channel, then change the channel of the note on your MIDI editor piano roll to whatever articulation you want. Once this is set up, you can move notes and cut and paste notes without ever dealing with key switch notes again. It has been a game changer for me and takes all the hassle out of using different articulations.
As a bonus, you can usually set the piano roll to show different MIDI channels in different colors, so you can see what articulation is there by what color the note is. Give it a try.
